PUT: A New Era

Hello and welcome to Pokemon: Ultimate Team! You may have heard of this game before, but it's just got different. Instead of me doing your tedious battles and calculations, we will be using the PokeBattleCenter server on Pokemon Online to do our battles. http://pokemon-online.eu/ Think of it as the same as going from books to TV. Wait, how is that going to work? Well, you'll start off with 6 random Pokemon at level 5. You put them in your team and do whatever you want with nature/evs and stuff. But not moves. You can only put moves that your Pokemon can know at that level. So at level 5, it will be limited.
Money is the fabric of the world, and it is no different in this new UT. You gain points through battles, more points for the better you did. With points, you can buy:
- Egg moves (300 points): Want an egg move on one of your Pokemon? Use 300 points and select your move.
- Move Tutors (400 points): Self-explanatory.
- Evolution Stones (1500 points): Self-explanatory.
- TMs/HMs (500 points): To get good movesets, you'll need TMs. For just 500 points, you can have any TM or HM in the game. ONE USE ONLY.
- Pokemon (varies): You can buy extra Pokemon. You can only buy Pokemon leveled up to the nearest 5 from your highest level Pokemon (eg. your highest is 18, so the maximum leveled Pokemon you can buy is 20, and at 5 you can only buy level 5s). They cost 80(level*2). THE POKEMON YOU GET IS 100% RANDOM.
You may battle at any time. Just challenge somebody else participating and battle! I'll either spectate (let me know when you battle if I'm online), but if I'm not then the WINNING player must send me a log via PM on here. If you wish to battle a randomly-generated team, then let me know in your thread and I'll make a team and challenge you.
So what is the goal? To beat all 8 gyms and the Elite 4, of course! When you feel you are ready to challenge the gym, post it in your thread and I will challenge you. Simple, really. The gym levels will be similar to those in the real games and specialize in types, just so you know. You will lose your Pokemon if I see you using moves you shouldn't, or if your opponent reports high levels.
YOU MUST TOTAL ALL EXP AT THE END OF YOUR BATTLES, OR ELSE I WON'T COUNT IT, USE (10)(LEVEL) FOR EXP
